Business Excellence Award

Each month the Business Development Committee will award a “Business Excellence” award to a member of the chamber.  The Award will be given to a business that has achieved excellence in Customer Service, Innovation, Community Service or Impact.

The award will be presented monthly at the Chamber Luncheon.  An award plaque will be given to the business to display at their place of business for years to come!

Business Excellence Award – Service

Purpose:  Each month, the committee “secret shops” member businesses to see who provides excellent customer service.  We are looking for that “WOW” experience that makes a customer or client want to come back again and tell all their friends.

Business Excellence Award – Impact

Purpose:  To recognize member businesses that contribute to our community through economic impact and volunteer activities and whose primary customer may NOT be in Natchitoches Parish

Business Excellence Award – Innovation

Purpose:  To recognize a member business that has achieved a unique or high level of innovation in some aspect of their operations.  This can be awarded for invented or new approach to doing business.  Examples: a superior or one-of-a-kind way of marketing, advertising, customer service, management style, employee techniques, communication, etc.  Or just an exclusive newly invented product or service.

Business Excellence Award – Community

Purpose:  To recognize a member business for their excellent community service, through volunteerism, donations, and general business practices that benefit the community as a whole.
