We’re all set for the annual Natchitoches Day at the Capitol!
The Rotunda Meet & Greet will be Noon until 2pm and the Reception at the Lt. Governor’s Suite (Pentagon Barracks) will be from 5pm to 7pm. We will have Lasyone’s Meat Pies to serve during the day along with materials about Natchitoches from partners; the Reception will feature Lasyone’s Crawfish Pies and an assortment of hors d’oevres along with a full bar.
Take advantage of the opportunity to visit with legislators not just from our area, but from all over the state. The Rotunda provides a great stage for not only sharing some great Natchitoches food, but also sharing the great news about Natchitoches. The more often legislators can imagine us as more than a "dot on a map", as real people with real businesses and real issues, the more helpful it is for our own legislators to serve our needs. Additionally, you can use this time to visit committee hearings, set other meetings in and around the Capitol and invite your Baton Rouge-area friends and associates to meet peers from Natchitoches.
