While not a native of Natchitoches, my husband, two daughters and I have lived here since 2006. Hello - 

After working in higher education and college athletics for over 40 years, including the last 26 as Director of Athletics at NSU, I am excited about assuming a newly created position as Director of Business Development and Public Relations for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation. It was huge when Natchitoches was chosen to be the permanent home of the Hall of Fame with construction of the award winning 27,000 square foot museum in the downtown historic district ten years ago. It truly is the state's museum but for Natchitoches, it is important to take a special level of ownership in "our hall." Enhancing and upgrading the museum, especially as it relates to technology, along with expanding the Hall of Fame brand and broadening its level of public relations on a local and statewide level will be focuses moving forward. I look forward to working with fellow chamber members to collaborate on making Natchitoches the best it can be.
