Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30Pm. No weekends/holidays.
Summary:
The Surgical Services Housekeeper/Aide assists the nursing staff in the maintenance of a clean environment by being responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of the Surgery Department on a daily basis. This position provides support as directed in the OR and PACU; facilitates a smooth transition between surgical procedures; maintains adequate supply levels as designated in the department; and participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
·High school diploma or equivalent required.
·Current CPR certification required.
·Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
·Previous experience in a surgical environment preferred.
