You will lead a team of 10-15 Material Handlers in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Emphasize safety, employee relations and inventory accuracy. This team is responsible for loading and unloading finished goods material from production into warehouse, pulling and loading finished goods for customer shipments, consolidating and single packing finished goods.
As a Materials Team Leader, YOU WILL:
Set example of working safely and assist with incident investigations.
Assist with hiring and ensure daily staffing needs are met.
Process shipment paperwork.
Coordinate and communicate with Maintenance as issues arise.
Cross train to be capable as Receiving Team Leader.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Diploma with one to three years' supervisory experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidate mush have computer experience; proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
Verifiable communications and team building skills.
Legal authorization to work in the United States unrestricted for an unlimited period of time. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Associate's degree or higher.
Able to obtain forklift license.
Familiarity with scanning inventory into tracking system.
Mainframe, Oracle or other ERP experience.

About our Location
Alliance Compressors is a joint venture established by Emerson Climate Technology, Inc., (formerly Copeland Corporation) a subsidiary of Emerson, and Trane (now a part of Ingersoll Rand,) and Lennox International. The partnership was formed for the purpose of developing, manufacturing, and marketing one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third largest manufacturing business in the area and offers the 600+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
