Come one, come all!
The Natchitoches Christmas Festival is the culmination of months of preparation and the product of a City and Chamber that love the Festival! However, we cannot do it alone!
Right now, we need volunteers for the Parade in two capacities: Parade Marshals (30) and Parade Judges (30).
Parade Marshals walk with the Parade and help keep it moving and in order. Marshals also work with the crowd and look for obstacles or hazards. Additionally, Marshals help the Parade transition into and out of the gated areas while helping to minimize crowd disruption. Marshals need to be able to walk the Parade route (3.5 miles) and will need to report to the Parade Line-up Area by no later than 1pm Festival Day (December 3, 2011).
Parade Judges are just that--judges! Judges are charged with keeping watch over the Parade from a particular vantage point and "scoring" each entry using the provided form. These scores are used to determine the best floats and entries, and will help us to maintain the highest quality Parade at the Christmas Festival.

Thank you!
