    Northwestern State University is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required. Professional experience in collegiate athletics administration or coaching; strong organizational and inter­personal communication skills, knowledge of NCAA rules regarding initial and continuing eligibility required; computer literacy mandatory with knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office preferred.

    Job Concepts

    Supervises staff and assists in implementation of the following: facilitating the Enhanced Academic Program (EAP), preparing and distributing student-athlete/team academic updates/reports, monitoring academic support areas, serving as on-campus liaison for the athletic department, overseeing the student-athlete development program, coordinating Summer Bridge classes/activities, addressing other related areas of academic support, and other duties as assigned.
