    Finished Products - First Line Leader

     

    Pay Rate:

    $86,800 - $127,300

    The Job You Will Perform:

    • Direct supervision of production crew utilizing competencies of a successful first line leader (see competencies below)
    • Responsible for assuring safety and efficient operation of all equipment in the areas. 
    • Responsible for maintaining a high standard in housekeeping in all areas.
    • Ensuring that the paper quality leaving the mill is of high standards and meets out customers' needs.
    • Provide for development implementation of training for direct reports.
    • Responsible for safe work environment, including conducting safety meetings, observations, and correcting unsafe behaviors/conduct.
    • Encourages and motivates crew members to complete on-shift safe behavior observations.
    • Conducting and facilitating crew meetings and problem solving.
    • Assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions.
    • Responsible for meetings and exceeding established production and quality goals.
    • Audit work systems to ensure consistent operation (rounds, logs, check sheets, inspection procedures, TCC's, centerline, etc.)
    • Increase crew engagement.
    • Responsible for and directs housekeeping duties.
    The Skills You Will Bring:
    • Engineering degree and 3-5 years of paper machine experience OR 5-10 years of paper machine experience
    • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Applications
    • Ability to utilize SAP and other data processing application
