Due to our expansion, Pelican Broadband is seeking technically minded individuals who preferably possess experience with fiber communications and are familiar with 48VDC communication systems.

This is a great entry level position for candidates who are entering the telecommunications field. We also welcome experienced candidates who are interested in working for a company that encourages career advancement from within. Salaries are based on experience and are competitive in the industry.

Our technicians are responsible for installing and maintaining fiber-to-the-home service which includes installing fiber, routers and WIFI products. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. There is also a rotating on-call schedule that will cover every fourth or fifth Saturday.

Minimum Requirements 

• High School diploma required or equivalent
• A current driver’s license
• Dependable transportation
