Natchitoches, LA, February 15, 2024:  The Ambassadors, an initiative under the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce India Rhodes as the 2024 Ambassador Chair. Rhodes, a committed member of the Natchitoches community, brings a wealth of experience and a fervent dedication to community engagement to her new role.

Originally from Meraux, LA, just south of vibrant New Orleans, India Rhodes's journey to leadership is characterized by her dedication to education and community involvement. After graduating from Chalmette High School, where she actively participated in various clubs and organizations, Rhodes pursued dual enrollment at Nunez Community College, obtaining certifications in Phlebotomy and EKG. In 2019, she relocated to Natchitoches. Concurrently, Rhodes serves as a realtor at Rhodes Realty and holds the position of Renovations Coordinator at Rhodes Properties and Development.

With a professional background centered on customer service and community development, Rhodes currently serves as the Renovations Coordinator at Rhodes Properties and Development, in addition to her role as a realtor at Rhodes Realty. Her commitment to serving others extends beyond her professional endeavors, evident in her involvement in various community organizations. Rhodes's dedication to the Natchitoches Chamber of Commerce was evident in her previous role as a Chamber Ambassador, where she distinguished herself through her enthusiasm and dedication.

As the newly appointed Ambassador Chair, India Rhodes will lead the Ambassadors in their mission to embody the spirit of volunteerism and community engagement. Recognized as the cornerstone of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ambassadors play a vital role in the success of chamber events and community initiatives. Under Rhodes's leadership, the Ambassadors are poised to continue their impactful contributions to the Natchitoches community.

Reflecting on Rhodes's appointment, Dustin Dauzat, Director of Development for the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to have India as our Ambassador Chair for 2024. Under Rhodes's guidance, the Ambassadors are positioned to continue their invaluable contributions to chamber events and community initiatives. Notably, the Ambassadors are currently collaborating with the Cane River National Heritage Area, Northwestern State University, and the City of Natchitoches on a parish-wide cleanup scheduled for April 22, 2024, aimed at enhancing the community's aesthetics and sustainability.
