    Natchitoches Young Professionals Announces 4 Under 40 Award Recipients

    Recognizing Visionaries Shaping the Future of Natchitoches through Leadership, Service, and Dedication to Community Growth

    Natchitoches, LA, January 19, 2024:  The Natchitoches Young Professionals (NYP), an initiative of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, has named its 4 Under 40 Award recipients for 2024: Kathryn Beaudoin, Dustin Dauzat, Lynda Hammett, and Logan Lambert.

    The 4U40 Awards are given to four deserving young professionals in the Natchitoches area who excel in community leadership and professional achievements. 4U40 Nominations are accepted through an anonymous survey. From there, a committee of former winners and Chamber leaders selects the award recipients based on merit and the nominees’ professional leadership, community participation, and influence as a role model.

    Kathryn Beaudoin, the Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's in Natchitoches, exemplifies a profound dedication to personal and community growth. A proud Natchitoches native and Natchitoches Central High School alum, Kathryn's journey with Raising Cane's started 15 years ago as an original crew member. Through hard work and determination, she ascended to various roles, becoming an Operations Manager and, eventually, the Restaurant Leader. Kathryn's impact extends beyond her professional role, actively supporting initiatives related to active lifestyle, business development, education, and pet welfare. Her leadership on the Natchitoches Chamber Board, involvement in NYP, and commitment to fostering the development of others highlight her passion for community engagement.

    Dustin Dauzat, the Director of Development for the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, stands out as a dedicated professional committed to the betterment of the community. With over two decades of experience in the banking sector and a wealth of skills in lending, operations, and management, Dustin's journey reflects a passion for understanding and addressing the needs of both customers and the community. His involvement in youth ministry, extensive volunteering, and leadership roles within the Chamber demonstrate his unwavering commitment to service. As the driving force behind initiatives like Leadership Natchitoches and A+ Coalition, Dustin continues to bring positive changes and aims to propel the Chamber to its full potential.

    Lynda Hammett, a multi-talented individual, stands as a beacon of inspiration in the Natchitoches community. A business owner, foster parent, and staff accountant at Hines, Squyres, & Associates, Lynda has demonstrated a deep commitment to both professional excellence and community service. As the owner of Dazzle Dance Center, she has nurtured the growth of the business for over 11 years, providing quality education in a supportive environment. Lynda's dedication extends to fostering eight children over six years and actively contributing to organizations like the Service League of Natchitoches. Her involvement in grant writing for the Cane River Food Pantry exemplifies her commitment to community improvement. Lynda's leadership, coupled with her continuous pursuit of learning, makes her a deserving nominee for the 4 Under 40 Award.

    Logan Lambert, a dedicated member of the Natchitoches community, showcases a commitment to service and volunteerism. Since moving to Natchitoches in 2014 to attend Northwestern State University, Logan has actively contributed to various community events and initiatives. Working at BOM Bank as an Assistant Vice President & Senior Accountant Manager, he has been inspired by the bank's staff's dedication to giving back, motivating him to volunteer over 5,000 hours annually. Serving on the Natchitoches Young Professionals Executive Committee and participating in programs like the Natchitoches Leadership Program and the Natchitoches Car Show Committee, Logan continues to enhance the community's vibrancy. His involvement in church activities and support for NRMC events further underline his dedication to making a positive impact.
