    CLASSIFICATION: Key Employee

     

    SUMMARY:

    Transport bulk supplies to and from bars and maintains cleanliness of bars. Assists the bartender in providing friendly, courteous beverage preparation and service to guest(s) in accordance with established procedures.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
    • Report to supervisor on duty for daily assignments.
    • Transport and stock beer, soda, bag in box and bulk items needed at bar.
    • Transport and stock glassware to bars.
    • Unload all items delivered to bar.
    • Clean floors, counters, underbars, drains and mats at bar.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of bar.
    • Prepares all mixes and garnishes.
    • Maintains all proper food safe guidelines in all garnishes and displays.
    • Assist Bartender in preparation of drinks as necessary.
    • Get change for bartenders as required.
    • Preforms necessary side work, pre-shift work and shift completion work.
    • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, casino policies and procedures.
    • Ensure safety, cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
    • Promotes Positive Customer relations, greets guest(s) and creates friendly atmosphere.
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate with staff and guest verbally in English.
    • Skills in establishing and maintain an effective working relationship with staff.
    • Basic mathematic abilities.
    • Basic money handling.
    • Other duties as assigned.
     

    ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS AND INFORMATION:

    • Specialized Closets (with supervisor and/or manager)
     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of one (1) year high volume multi-tasking bar experience.
    • Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
    • Must pose excellent communication skills.

    • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
    • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    • Must successfully pass drug screen and Tribal Gaming Commission Licensing.
    • Tribal Preferences.

    Members of the Jena Band of Choctaw Tribe shall be given absolute preference with respect to hiring, promotions, training, contracting, and separation from employment.
